Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Welsh Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the educational development of students while fostering a positive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting Classroom Instruction: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support to students who may need additional help.
Language Proficiency: Use your Welsh language skills to facilitate communication and comprehension for students learning through the medium of Welsh.
Behavioural Support: Help maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere by assisting in managing student behaviour and addressing any challenges that may arise.
Resource Preparation: Prepare and organise educational materials, ensuring classrooms are well-equipped for effective learning.
Individualised Assistance: Provide personalised support to students with varying learning needs, including those with special educational requirements.
Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment tailored to each student's needs.
What We're Looking For:
At Tradewind Recruitment, we value dedication, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with children. While previous classroom experience is advantageous, it's not essential. However, experience working with children is a must.

- Possess excellent communication skills in both Welsh and English.

- Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS Check/ EWC Registration (or be willing to obtain one).
- Be able to provide professional references upon request.
