The teacher must have:
*Full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*2+ Years' experience as a Year 1 Class Teacher
*Confidence taking over the class and keeping the children on task and hitting their targets and goals
*An outgoing, fun and warm personality
*Full time Availability including staying for parent/ teacher meetings
*A hardworking attitude
*The ability to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Excellent behaviour management skills
*A sound knowledge of Phonics
*The ability to work effectively within a team

The school will be looking for someone who has at least 2 years' experience in the classroom and is looking to further and better their career. This is a great opportunity to grow within a school and continue with them even after the Maternity contract has finished. The school is known for keeping staff for numerous years and becoming a close-knit family team. You will be expected to attend their inset days in September and be prepared for a week handover before the October half term. The role will officially begin after October half term until the end of the Academic school year.
