Job Title: Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Southwark

Our agency is currently seeking an experienced SEN TA to join a vibrant primary school located in Southwark. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a student with Autism on a 1:1 basis in year 2.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in a primary school, specifically with students with SEN. The candidate should be passionate about working with children, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons in year 2.
- Supporting children with their learning and development.
- Providing feedback to the class teacher on children's progress.
- Preparing learning resources and materials.
- Helping with the supervision of children during break times.
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a primary school, preferably within SEN students.
- A good understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Experience supporting children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A passion for working with children.
