The Position:
This role commences January 2020 but the Headteacher is looking for the role to start as soon as possible. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. The total working hours in the school will be 37.5.
The ideal candidate will be ready to hit the ground running as part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team and will have:
*Hold QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
*Have at least 1 years' experience as a Year 3 Class Teacher.
*Be confident in their use and understanding of Phonics and the KS2 National Curriculum.
*Possess the drive and determination to make a difference to their pupils' education.
*Be passionate about their own professional development.
*Be keen to work as part of a growing and dynamic workforce.

The school is 1-form entry and has recently been rated "Good" by Ofsted. It is in Salford (M7) The school has an aspiring Senior Leadership Team with high ambitions and clear vision have been instrumental in bringing about improvements to teaching and pupils' achievement since the last inspection.

About You:

*Have an excellent understanding of how children learn and wants the best for every child in their class.
*Regularly reflected on their practice.
*Can support, inspire and excite learning in children.
*Have good organisation skills.
*Be able to create a safe and engaging learning environment
*Have an excellent knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.


Ideally the Primary teacher will have experience of;
*Teaching in a Year 3 Class
*Teaching all core and foundation primary subjects.
*Creatively linking subjects together to plan thematically
*Planning for, directing and working with a teaching assistant
