About the School - Year 5 Teacher - Hounslow, West London

The school has made tremendous progress under the current leadership and embeds its vision at the core of all they do. The focus is on making pupils and adults feel valued and safe in order that deeper learning can take place. The school caters well for children who come from disadvantaged backgrounds and because of this they make good progress. The leadership are driven to continually raise teaching standards and provide an excellent range of CPD for their staff. Links with the community and the parents and carers of the pupils are good and this level of engagement has a positive impact on the wellbeing of the children and their attitude to learning. The Year 5 team is fortunate to have a team of 4 teachers and 3 teaching assistants to draw expertise and support from. About the Role - Year 5 Teacher - Hounslow, West London

*To plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons across the curriculum
*To provide children with timely and informative feedback
*To keep rigorous assessment records and use data to identify gaps in learning
*Liaise with the SENCO to plan interventions
*To inform leadership, parents and carers about pupil progress
