Tradewind are recruiting an enthusiastic Yr6 teacher for a large primary school in Rochdale.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dynamic and hardworking Yr6 teacher for a 2-form entry school in Rochdale. The position is due to start after Christmas, but they would like to appoint asap to help facilitate some transition days. This is a full time, permanent contract and isn't necessarily a long-term supply contract. The position will be subject to main pay scales and there is opportunity for a TLR if you are an experienced teacher or to complete induction if you are an NQT looking for your first position.

To join us and be successful in this Yr6 Teacher role, you will need to:
*Hold QTS Status
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the role
Yr6 is a challenging year in all schools. With SATS around the corner, pressure is on to ensure as many children as possible hit expected standards. However, this is a school that really focus on the individual needs of each child, brushing aside the generic teaching practice that can sometime be employed in Yr6. There are 27 children in the class and a wide variety of needs. They need a dynamic and inspiring teacher who has a creative outlook on the curriculum. Behaviour has been problematic at times but only because they haven't necessarily been engaged with their work. You will be given plenty of support; in and out of the classroom and access to a brilliant CPD program.

We are looking for:

*An excellent classroom practitioner with experience in Upper Key Stage 2 (however, NQT's with first class degrees and outstanding references are welcome to apply)
*Experience of implementing continuous provision in the classroom
*Passionate about pupils' learning
*Able to work as part of team
*Willing to be fully involved in the life of the school community
