Location: South Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:20am - 3:20pm

The Role:
- Supervise secondary classes in the absence of teachers (ages 11-18)
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom behaviour
- Support learning across multiple subjects and year groups
- Contribute to enrichment sessions, admin tasks, and pastoral support when not covering lessons
Ideal Candidate:
We welcome applications from graduates with experience in:
- Working in schools or colleges
- Youth work or sports coaching
- Outdoor education or children's activity leadership
- Community groups or church youth clubs
Preferred degrees in Maths, English, Science, or Humanities, with strong GCSEs (Grades A*-C / 6-9) in core subjects.

To Be Considered, You Must Meet the Following Criteria:
- Minimum of 6 weeks' experience (within the last 3 years) working with students aged 11-16
- A referee who can provide a detailed reference for this experience
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, overseas police checks (if applicable), and full professional references
- A CV with complete employment and education history, including explanations for any gaps
- Legal right to work in the UK
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
