Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students aged 11-16
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in a relevant science discipline
Strong subject knowledge across the science curriculum
Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to continuous professional development
