Behaviour Mentor - Medway Towns
Full-Time | £88.94 - £100 per day | Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with several specialist SEN schools across the Medway Towns, seeking Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with challenging behaviours and additional needs. These positions are full-time and available for immediate starts.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing tailored support to pupils with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural difficulties.

  • Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure pupils remain engaged and supported in their learning.

  • Supporting students both individually and in small groups to help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.

  • Taking part in ongoing training and professional development, with access to accredited CPD courses and specialist behavioural management techniques.


What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs or challenging behaviour-whether in education, youth work, care, or intervention settings.

  • Confidence, patience, and a proactive attitude to working in demanding educational environments.

  • Desirable but not essential: Teaching Assistant Level 2/3 qualification, or experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or Youth Mentor.

  • A valid Enhanced Child-only DBS (on the update service), or willingness to apply for one.

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
