Start Date: September 2025
Location: Ealing, West London
Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm | Monday to Friday | Term Time Only
Rate: £95 per day
Contract: Fixed Term (Full Academic Year) - Potential to Extend
A delightful Church of England primary school in Ealing is working in partnership with SANZA Teaching Agency to appoint a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant. This full-time position, beginning in September 2025, involves providing focused support to Key Stage 2 pupils with a variety of additional needs. For the right individual, there may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent role.
About the Role:
As a Key Stage 2 SEN Assistant, you will play a vital part in nurturing both the academic and personal development of children with special educational needs within a mainstream setting. Responsibilities include:
Offering bespoke 1:1 and small group support to pupils with needs such as autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
Supporting the delivery of structured interventions and tailored learning tasks
Collaborating with teachers, the SENCO, and external specialists to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
Promoting pupil engagement, self-confidence, and positive peer relationships
Helping create a calm, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have prior experience supporting pupils with SEND, ideally in a Key Stage 2 environment
Display patience, empathy, and strong behaviour management strategies
Communicate confidently with pupils, colleagues, and families
Be proactive, reflective, and committed to inclusive education
Strive to help every child thrive and succeed
