Graduate Teaching Assistants - Camden

Are you a recent graduate or are you due to be graduating this year? Are you passionate about education and looking to gain invaluable classroom experience?

Tradewind are seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants to join secondary schools in Camden to start ASAP, or in September 2025. These are full-time roles and the successful applicant will be required to work 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, offering hands-on experience supporting students and teachers in a dynamic and welcoming environment.

About the Role

  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students
  • Helping with classroom management and lesson preparation
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) where required
  • Gaining valuable insight into the teaching profession

Requirements

  • A degree in any subject (Education, English, Maths, Science, or Psychology preferred)
  • A passion for working with young people and helping them succeed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with children with challenging behaviour
  • Experience working with children in any capacity (e.g. tutoring, coaching, youth work, voluntary or within a school)
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour
  • A proactive and supportive attitude
