Pastoral Support Officer - Secondary Schools - Enfield
📍 Location: Enfield, North London
🕒 Job Type: Full-time, Term-time only
💰 Pay: £100-£115 per day (depending on experience)
Inclusive and supportive secondary schools in Enfield are looking for dedicated Pastoral Support Officers to work closely with students who need help with behaviour, attendance or emotional wellbeing.
This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills and experience supporting young people, whether in schools, youth work, or community settings.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Offering 1:1 mentoring and support for students facing challenges
- Monitoring attendance and punctuality
- Supporting behaviour plans and restorative approaches
- Liaising with staff, families and external agencies
Who You Are:
- A strong communicator with a caring, proactive attitude
- Experience in a pastoral, youth work, or education support role
- Confident managing sensitive situations and maintaining boundaries
- Committed to helping young people overcome barriers to success
