Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of a all-girls secondary school in L17, South Liverpool, we are seeking a reliable and proactive DT Technician. This is a part-time role (3 days per week), starting immediately and continuing on an ongoing basis.

About the Role:

• Support the Design & Technology department with the preparation and maintenance of equipment and materials.
• Ensure all tools and machines are in safe working order and ready for practical lessons.
• Assist teaching staff during lessons as needed, including setting up demonstrations.
• Maintain stock levels, order materials, and manage resources effectively.
• Promote and ensure a safe working environment, following health & safety procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working as a technician in a school DT department or similar workshop setting.
• Confident using a range of tools and machinery (woodwork, electronics, textiles, or food tech knowledge all welcome).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to a school environment.
• Organised, adaptable, and a strong team player.
• DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
