PE Teacher (Male)

Location: Secondary School - L15, Liverpool
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (2 Terms)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £150 - £220 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)
Closing Date: Monday 7th July at 9am

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-regarded grammar school in South Liverpool (L15) to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Male Teacher of PE for a temporary two-term position starting in September 2025.

The Role:

Teaching Core PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Delivering high-quality, inclusive lessons that develop fitness, skills, and teamwork
Leading and organising activities with a focus on football and basketball
Supporting and coaching school sports teams in competitions and fixtures
Actively contributing to the school's extra-curricular programme

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent PE teaching qualification
Have experience delivering KS3 and KS4 PE in a school setting
Possess strong knowledge of football and basketball coaching
Be passionate about student wellbeing, physical development, and teamwork
Be committed to attending and organising after-school sports clubs and events
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
