Teaching Assistants - Oldham

Location: Oldham and surrounding areas

Pay: £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)

Start date: As soon as possible

Contract: Flexible - day-to-day, long-term

Hours: Full-time or part-time, term-time only

We're working closely with schools in and around Oldham who are looking for Teaching Assistants to support their pupils across a range of settings. Whether you've got classroom experience or have supported young people in other environments, this could be a great opportunity if you're looking for flexible work that makes a difference.

This role suits someone who's calm, reliable, and genuinely enjoys helping children thrive. You don't need a qualification, just the right attitude and some relevant experience.

The role includes:

Supporting pupils in lessons (1:1, small groups or whole class)

Helping with learning tasks and keeping children engaged

Supporting children with additional needs or challenging behaviour

Working closely with the class teacher and wider team

Contributing to a positive, supportive classroom environment

What we're looking for:

Experience working with children or young people in any setting

A patient, approachable and proactive mindset

Someone happy to follow school routines and direction

Confidence working across different year groups and abilities

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Two references covering the last two years

Right to work in the UK
