About This Position As a Behaviour Mentor, you will have a vital role in supporting students who face behavioural challenges, guiding them towards positive engagement with their learning and school community.

Core Responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties
• Managing challenging situations with calm professionalism, employing restorative practices when suitable
• Promoting students' emotional health and personal growth
• Collaborating effectively with teachers, pastoral staff, and SENCOs to deliver targeted behaviour interventions
• Demonstrating positive behaviours and establishing meaningful connections with young people

Who We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (in education, youth work, or care settings)
• Calm, confident, and positive under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A proactive, empathetic, and firm-but-fair approach
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
• Right to work in the UK
