Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and well-resourced 3-form entry academy school in Slough who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 1 teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position for the academic year, ending July 2026 and would be ideal for an Early Career Teacher looking for a nurturing start to their teaching journey, or for an experienced teacher seeking a fresh and collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the Year 1 national curriculum.

  • Collaborating with parallel class teachers to plan, assess and adapt learning based on pupil needs.

  • Supporting pupils with diverse learning backgrounds, including EAL and SEND.

  • Maintaining regular communication with parents and carers regarding progress and classroom life.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning pedagogy

  • Strong organisational skills and a commitment to inclusive classroom practice

  • A positive and proactive attitude to teamwork and whole-school contribution
