Learning Support Assistant - SEN Support Across Primary and Secondary Schools
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join our team, supporting SEN provisions across a variety of primary and secondary schools in Lambeth, starting September 2025.
Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Multiple Schools, Lambeth
Start Date: September 2025
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff to implement and adapt personalised learning plans.
Support pupils' academic, emotional, and social development in both classroom and unstructured settings.
Help students develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills.
Assist during transitions, break/lunch times, and extracurricular activities as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ideally in a school environment.
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to support diverse learning needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN are desirable but not essential.
