Learning Support Assistant - SEN Support Across Primary and Secondary Schools

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join our team, supporting SEN provisions across a variety of primary and secondary schools in Lambeth, starting September 2025.

Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Multiple Schools, Lambeth
Start Date: September 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.

  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff to implement and adapt personalised learning plans.

  • Support pupils' academic, emotional, and social development in both classroom and unstructured settings.

  • Help students develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills.

  • Assist during transitions, break/lunch times, and extracurricular activities as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ideally in a school environment.

  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to support diverse learning needs.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN are desirable but not essential.
