Design & Technology Technician - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking to appoint Design & Technology Technicians for an immediate start in a secondary schools in Bromley, with further opportunities available in schools across South East London. This is a full-time, long-term role, with pay dependent on experience.
As a Design & Technology Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the DT department. Your duties will include preparing materials and tools for practical lessons, maintaining and organising equipment, assisting staff during lessons, and ensuring that all health and safety standards are met. You may be working across various areas including woodwork, metalwork, electronics, and food technology.
Previous experience as a DT Technician or in a similar technical support role is preferred but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals with a practical background, such as those with experience in engineering, construction, or design, who are keen to work in an educational setting. A DBS registered on the Update Service is essential.
