🎓 Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools - Tower Hamlets - September Start 🎓

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning in a network of welcoming secondary schools across Tower Hamlets, starting September 2025.

📍 Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
📅 Start Date: September 2025
📚 Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant (Secondary)
💼 Contract: Full-time, term-time only
💰 Salary: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

🔹 What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students aged 11-16 in class, particularly those with additional needs (SEN, SEMH, EAL)

  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management

  • Running small group interventions and one-to-one support sessions

  • Helping students stay engaged, motivated, and on track with their learning

  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment

🔹 Who We're Looking For:

  • A recent graduate (any subject) with a strong academic background

  • Passionate about working with young people and supporting their development

  • A great communicator with confidence, patience, and resilience

  • Ideally, some experience with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, youth work - paid or voluntary)

  • A future teacher or education professional looking to gain school-based experience
