Are you a hands-on, creative individual with a passion for helping young people thrive in practical subjects?

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Hackney, catering to students with moderate learning needs, is seeking a Part-Time Food & Art Technician to join their team from September 2025 through to July 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with teachers and students in a role that's both creative and rewarding - all within a collaborative, supportive environment.

🔧 Role Details:

4 days per week

3 days in Food Technology

1 day in Art

Agency contract proudly paying PAYE: September 2025 - July 2026

Term-time only (school holidays off!)

Daily rate: £130

🧑‍🏫 Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, set up, and tidy away materials and equipment for practical lessons

Support students and teachers during hands-on food and art sessions

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace

Work as part of a committed and enthusiastic team

Flexible, reliable, and a great communicator

Passionate about supporting students with SEND

Experience in a school, kitchen, art room, or workshop is a plus - but not essential!
