We are a vibrant, inclusive secondary school in the heart of Newham seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive Inclusion team.

About the Role:
As a SEN TA, you will be working closely with students who have a range of special educational needs and learning difficulties. You will support them both in our dedicated Inclusion space and within mainstream classrooms, helping to ensure that every student can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs

  • Support students with a variety of needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional challenges

  • Assist teaching staff in adapting materials and strategies to meet individual student needs

  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Monitor and report on student progress to SENCO and teaching staff

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people with SEN in a school or similar setting (desirable but not essential)

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
