School Caretaker - Part-Time, Flexible Supply Work - North Sheffield

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for part-time School Caretakers to join our supply team, supporting a range of primary schools across North Sheffield.

We are looking for dedicated School Caretakers to take on short-term and ongoing assignments, helping schools maintain safe, clean, and well-functioning environments for students and staff.

What the role involves:

Opening and locking school buildings at the start and end of the day
Carrying out routine maintenance, basic repairs, and site checks
Ensuring school grounds are tidy and well-kept
Supporting with health and safety procedures, including fire and security systems
Assisting with deliveries, furniture moves, and contractor access as required

What we're looking for:

Experience in a similar caretaking, maintenance, or facilities role
Strong practical skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
The ability to work independently and follow school procedures
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Tradewind)
