SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (Year 1) - Sheffield Primary School

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Sheffield. This full-time role will begin in September 2025 and involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 1 with Autism.
About the Role:
Supporting a lovely Year 1 pupil with Autism on a 1:1 basis.
Assisting with classroom activities and creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans.
Encouraging social interaction, communication, and emotional regulation.
About You:
Experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs is highly desirable.
A calm, positive, and resilient attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
