Primary Teacher - Year 7 Booster Support (Secondary Schools - Sheffield)

Location: Sheffield
Job Type: Supply / Flexible Contract
Salary: £140 - £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 or sooner

Tradewind is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to provide booster support to Year 7 students across secondary schools in Sheffield. The role involves delivering targeted intervention sessions to help students improve their literacy, numeracy, and overall confidence as they transition from primary to secondary education.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver small group and one-to-one catch-up sessions for Year 7 pupils

  • Support students with literacy and numeracy interventions

  • Work closely with secondary school staff, including SENCOs and Heads of Year

  • Monitor and report on student progress

  • Assist with the pastoral and academic transition for Year 7 students

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with primary teaching experience

  • Experience teaching upper KS2 desirable

  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet varied student needs

  • Willingness to work within a secondary school environment

This is a supply teaching position offering flexible working arrangements and daily rates of pay.
