Are you a dedicated, reliable teaching assistant with a love for early years education? Do you have a passion for "learning through play" and a strong desire to assist in the speech and language development of a child with Autism? If so, this may be the role for you!
SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest who are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team.
About the role:
You will work closely with the early years team to support a young child with Autism, providing one-to-one personalised support.
This role requires someone who is confident with pre-verbal communication strategies and experienced in supporting speech and language development.
About you:
- Have previous experience supporting children with Autism, ideally in an Early Years or primary setting
- Is confident and skilled in using alternative communication methods
- Has knowledge of early childhood development and strategies to support speech and language
- Is comfortable with personal care responsibilities (if required)
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
