Religious Education (RE) Teacher - Ealing, Inner London

An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2025. This role is available on a full-time basis, with the option of a permanent contract or long-term agency placement, depending on experience and preference.

The school offers an engaging and supportive environment where staff and students are proud to be part of a vibrant learning community. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, and the school is easily accessible by public transport, with some parking available on site.

Salary: Inner London MPS/UPS (depending on experience)


Religious Education Teacher - Ealing, Inner London

* Teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 for suitable candidates
* Explore major world religions, ethical issues, and philosophical questions with students in a thought-provoking and inclusive manner
* Encourage tolerance, reflection, and open-mindedness while promoting student engagement and personal development
* Work collaboratively with a well-established Humanities faculty known for its innovative and supportive approach
* Contribute to wider school life and enrichment activities related to ethics, philosophy, and belief systems

Qualifications and Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy or a related field
* Experience teaching RE in UK secondary schools
* A genuine passion for Religious Education and inclusive teaching
* Strong communication skills and a reflective, team-oriented mindset
