Pay: £105-£120 per day

A secondary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to join their pastoral team and support the personal development and wellbeing of students across the school.
About the role:
- Supporting students with emotional, behavioural, or attendance concerns
- Acting as a first point of contact for students in need of guidance or support
- Liaising with families, external agencies, and school staff to ensure continuity of care
- Monitoring attendance and punctuality and supporting interventions
- Playing a key role in safeguarding and wellbeing procedures
About you:
- Experience in a school, youth work, social care or similar environment
- Confident with managing sensitive situations and building trust
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication, organisation and record-keeping skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
