Are you a passionate and inspiring English Teacher looking for a fresh start this September? Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful and welcoming secondary school in Crewe, who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team for the new academic year.

This is a full-time, long-term role, suitable for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs, with the potential to continue for the full academic year and beyond for the right candidate.

About the Role:

As the English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Inspire students with engaging and creative teaching that promotes a love of reading, writing, and effective communication

  • Plan and assess work in line with curriculum requirements and student abilities

  • Contribute to departmental planning, development, and extra-curricular activities

  • Support the wider school ethos and maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Have recent experience teaching English in a secondary school setting

  • Possess excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills

  • Be committed to the academic and personal development of all students

  • Demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm and a proactive approach to teaching
