Learning Support Assistant - Southwark - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an experienced and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant mainstream secondary school in Southwark. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year.

In this role, you will support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both within the classroom and in small group or 1:1 settings. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help students access the curriculum, implement individual support plans, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

To be considered, you must have:

  • Experience working with children or young people (in school or a similar setting)

  • A strong understanding of SEND

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
