SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Newham - September Start

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Newham from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and enthusiastic individual who is committed to supporting students with a range of needs to achieve their full potential.

🔹 The Role:

  • Support students with a variety of SEN (including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH)

  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to deliver tailored support

  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions

  • Help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment

🔹 The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred)

  • A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine desire to support and inspire students

Hours: Full-time, term-time only
