Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School, Hayes (Hillingdon Borough)
A primary school in Hayes, Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs in a nurturing school environment.
Role details:
- Hours: 12.00pm - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
- Pay: £52 per shift
- Location: Hayes, Hillingdon
Key responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
- Building positive relationships and supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development
- Adapting to meet the varying needs of children and following individual learning and support plans
- Working closely with class teachers and the wider SEN team
The successful candidate will:
- Have prior experience supporting children with special educational needs
- Be flexible, adaptable and committed to making a positive impact
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a proactive, engaging approach
- Be a caring and reliable individual who thrives in a supportive school setting
