The Role 🎯
As a Classroom Supervisor, you will:
Cover Teacher Absences: Supervise students and ensure they complete pre-planned work left by the teacher in their absence.
Maintain Order: Uphold a positive and productive learning environment by managing student behaviour according to school policies.
Support Learning: Answer students' questions and provide guidance to keep them on task.
Collaborate: Liaise with school staff to report on student progress and any behavioural issues.
Gain Experience: This role is perfect for those considering a career in teaching or education, offering a chance to gain hands-on experience in diverse school settings.
Who We're Looking For ✨
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience: Previous experience working with young people, either paid or voluntary, is a plus.
Resilience: The ability to manage a classroom and handle challenging situations with a calm and confident approach.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and communicate effectively with staff.
Commitment: A strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection, and a willingness to undergo a full DBS check.
