Join Our Team: Dedicated School Cleaners Needed!

Are you a meticulous and reliable individual with a keen eye for detail? Due to overwhelming demand, we are urgently seeking new team members to help us create clean, safe, and welcoming environments for children and staff across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast!

This is a vital opportunity to contribute to a positive learning environment, ensuring our primary and secondary schools are sparkling for our pupils. The work we offer is adhoc (as and when needed by schools), you will rotate across a selection of schools in your area. Work will be offered across Monday - Friday. Hours will vary but standard shifts are 7am-12pm or 3-6pm based on your availability and preference.

The Role: School Cleaner

As a dedicated School Cleaner, you'll be responsible for a variety of essential duties to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Thorough cleaning of classrooms, corridors, communal areas, and offices.

  • Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and toilet facilities to ensure hygiene.

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping all floor surfaces.

  • Efficiently emptying bins and appropriate waste disposal.

  • Dusting and polishing various surfaces.

  • Replenishing essential supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels).

  • Strict adherence to health and safety regulations and KCSIE guidelines.

  • Promptly reporting any maintenance issues or damage.

About You:

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about maintaining a pristine environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in cleaning, with an advantage if it's within a school or similar setting.

  • A strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive, can-do approach.

  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team.

  • A solid understanding of health and safety procedures related to cleaning.

  • A genuine commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness.
