Location: Secondary School, Tower Hamlets
Contract: Full-time, term-time only

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Mentor to join our supportive team at a thriving secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

About the role
As a Learning Mentor, you will:

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for students who need additional help with their learning.

• Work with students to develop confidence, motivation, and effective study skills.

• Help remove barriers to learning by supporting academic, social and emotional development.

• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff and parents/carers to ensure students receive the right support.

• Be a positive role model, encouraging resilience, aspiration and success.

About you
We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working with young people in a school, youth work or mentoring role.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy and a supportive approach.

• The ability to motivate and inspire students.

• A commitment to improving the life chances of young people.
