We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Blackpool (FY1). This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a brand new, multi-academy school with modern classrooms and state-of-the-art resources.

The Role: What to Expect:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting a reception class of four-year-olds. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, adaptable, and full of energy to help inspire curiosity and capture the attention of our young minds. Your role will involve assisting the class teacher in a general capacity, helping to foster a positive and engaging learning environment.

Familiarity with the Read Write Inc. phonics program would be ideal, as you will be helping to support small groups with their early reading and writing skills. You'll be involved in a variety of activities, from structured lessons to play-based learning, all designed to develop young minds and encourage a love of learning.

Key Details & Requirements

  • Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Nature of Role: Temporary, ad-hoc, with an open-ended duration.
  • Requirements: A recognised EYFS qualification and prior experience working in a school or early years setting.
