Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? A welcoming primary school in Withington is on the lookout for a friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Year 4 class after October half term. This is a fantastic full-time role running right through until July 2026 - the perfect chance to really make an impact and become part of a supportive school community.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be working alongside a dedicated Year 4 teacher, supporting pupils across the classroom and helping them thrive both academically and socially. No two days will be the same - you'll be:

  • Working with small groups or one-to-one with pupils who need an extra boost.
  • Supporting lessons, preparing resources, and keeping the classroom buzzing with positivity.
  • Encouraging children to be confident, independent learners.
  • Being a friendly, approachable presence who pupils can rely on.

Essential requirements:

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

  • Have a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification. (or degree)
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
  • Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
