SEN Teaching Assistant - Wellingborough
Location: Wellingborough
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £90 - £115 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, term-time only
Are you a caring, patient and resilient individual looking to make a positive difference in a child's life? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Wellingborough, currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their growing team.
This school provides specialist education for children with a range of additional needs including autism, global developmental delay, and SEMH. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in helping students access the curriculum and engage with learning in a way that suits their needs.
You'll be working under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO to deliver interventions, provide emotional regulation support, and assist with day-to-day routines. No two days are the same - but every day is rewarding.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience supporting children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
- Be calm, empathetic and reliable
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be comfortable with personal care (where required)
- Have a flexible and proactive attitude
