Level 2 Teaching Assistant - SEN Schools - Wellingborough
Location: Wellingborough
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Supply or Long-Term
Salary: £90-£110 per day
Looking to begin or continue a meaningful career in education? Tradewind Recruitment is working with excellent SEN schools in Wellingborough that are seeking Level 2 Teaching Assistants to provide classroom and 1:1 support to students with additional needs.
This is the perfect role if you're passionate about making a difference and keen to gain or build SEN experience.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting children 1:1 or in small groups under teacher supervision
- Helping to deliver structured learning and behaviour support plans
- Encouraging participation and independence during lessons
- Supporting children with personal care and daily routines if required
- Using visual aids, PECS or Makaton (training available if needed)
- Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, speech & language or sensory needs
