Salary: £90 - £105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

About the Role
Tradewind Education is recruiting a dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide targeted behavioural support for a pupil in a supportive primary school in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with patience, resilience, and a passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.

You will work on a 1:1 basis, supporting a child with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them to manage their behaviour, regulate emotions, and engage positively with classroom learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent 1:1 behaviour support to a primary-aged pupil.

  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.

  • Support the pupil in accessing the curriculum and achieving personal goals.

  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to provide tailored support.

  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months' experience working in a UK primary school or SEND provision (essential).

  • Proven experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or additional needs.

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

  • Patience, resilience, and the ability to build positive relationships.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
