SEN English Teacher - Northampton
Location: Northampton | Full-Time | Immediate

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a experienced and enthusiastic SEN English Teachers to join welcoming SEN schools in Northampton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support secondary-aged students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
The Role:
As a SEN English Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated English lessons
- Support pupils working significantly below age-related expectations
- Collaborate with support staff, SENCOs, and therapists
- Monitor progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster confidence, independence, and a love of learning
This role suits a confident educator who believes in personalised, inclusive education and can manage behaviour effectively with empathy and consistency.
Requirements:
- QTS/QTLS or equivalent (Essential)
- SEN or SEMH teaching experience (Desirable)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- An understanding of individual learning needs
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
