Tradewind Recruitment is working with forward-thinking schools in Northampton to recruit passionate Inclusion Support Practitioners. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on supporting children with additional needs, helping them feel understood, accepted, and equipped to succeed.
The Role:
As an Inclusion Support Practitioner, you will:
- Work closely with pupils with SEN, SEMH, and EAL needs
- Deliver targeted interventions in and out of the classroom
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies
- Promote emotional wellbeing, confidence, and resilience
- Help students overcome barriers to learning and participation
This is a vital role in ensuring that inclusion is not just a policy but a lived experience for every learner in the school.
Ideal Candidate:
- Background in SEN, youth work, psychology, or inclusion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust and consistency with students
- Understanding of safeguarding and SEND Code of Practice
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
