Job Title: School Administrator
Location: Tameside Primary School
Contract: Full-time / Term-time only

Are you an organised and proactive individual with experience working in a school office environment? We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our friendly and welcoming Tameside primary school team.

About the Role:
As a School Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school office. You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, providing excellent customer service and ensuring administrative processes are efficient and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the school reception and dealing with enquiries from parents, staff, and visitors

  • Maintaining accurate pupil records and school databases (SIMS/Arbor experience desirable)

  • Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting

  • Handling correspondence, filing, and general office tasks

  • Assisting with the organisation of school events and trips

  • Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team as required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous school-based administrative experience

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages

  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

  • A warm, professional manner and the ability to work as part of a team
