Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Nursery Class

Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week

Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a welcoming primary school in Sheffield who are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Nursery class from October 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner to make a real difference to children at the very start of their learning journey.

The Role:

• Working closely with the Nursery class teacher to provide high-quality support to children aged 3-4.

• Supporting children's learning, social and emotional development through engaging activities and structured routines.

• Assisting with planning and delivering small group and individual interventions.

• Helping to create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.

• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents to support progress and wellbeing.

The School is looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

• Has experience working with early years or within a Nursery setting.

• Demonstrates a nurturing, patient and positive approach to supporting young children.

• Can work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

• Is committed to helping every child achieve their potential.
