The Role
We are seeking compassionate Teaching Assistants to become part of our dedicated team. This vital role involves supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. You'll work closely with teaching staff to deliver a curriculum that is both engaging and specifically designed to meet individual requirements. Your support will be key to helping students flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing in-class and out-of-class support to students with SEMH needs.
Assisting in the implementation of differentiated and engaging lessons.
Establishing positive and trusting relationships to promote student progress.
Helping to cultivate communication, independence, and life skills.
Applying positive and consistent behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
Delivering both one-to-one and small group support as needed.
