Job Description
A welcoming and ambitious primary school located in the heart of Gorton, Manchester, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join their team after the October half term break. This full-time role will continue until the end of the academic year, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to make a real difference to pupils at a crucial stage in their primary journey.

The appointed teacher will:
- Take full responsibility for teaching a Year 2 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Support pupils' academic progress, personal development, and wellbeing, helping them prepare for the transition to Key Stage 2.
- Assess and track pupil achievement, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold a relevant Teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
