A welcoming and ambitious primary school in the vibrant area of Cheetham Hill, Manchester, is seeking an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. This ongoing role will be for two days per week and will continue for the rest of the academic year, offering an excellent opportunity to support pupils through a crucial stage of their primary education.

The successful candidate will:

  • Take responsibility for teaching a Year 6 class two days per week, delivering engaging and challenging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Support pupils in their preparation for end-of-Key Stage assessments, ensuring they are motivated, confident, and well-prepared.
  • Work closely with the Year 6 team to plan, assess, and track progress, contributing to a consistent approach to teaching and learning.
  • Establish a positive classroom culture that promotes high expectations, respect, and resilience.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure every child reaches their potential.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold a relevant Teaching qualification
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
