Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School - Southwark

Full-Time | Immediate Start | Long-Term

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Southwark. This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately.

In this vital role, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both within the classroom and through targeted small-group or one-to-one interventions. You'll help adapt lessons, implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and create an inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.

What we're looking for:

• Experience supporting children or young people, ideally in a school setting

• A background in working with students with SEND

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

• Strong communication, patience, and a proactive approach
