💷 Salary: £153 - £211 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a thriving Secondary School in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a dynamic and committed Humanities Teacher to start as soon as possible. This full-time, long-term position offers an excellent opportunity to teach across the Humanities faculty, including subjects such as History, Geography, and RE (dependent on your specialism and experience).

About the Role:

As a Humanities Teacher, you will:

  • Teach a range of Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Deliver creative, engaging lessons that support all learners

  • Differentiate content to meet the needs of students with a variety of abilities

  • Take part in department planning, assessment, and reporting

  • Promote high standards of behaviour and a love of learning in your classroom

  • Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Humanities subjects in a UK secondary school setting

  • Be confident planning and delivering lessons in at least one core Humanities subject (History, Geography or RE)

  • Be passionate about fostering curiosity and critical thinking in young people

  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
