Science Teacher - Northampton

Tradewind is working with several forward-thinking secondary schools in Northampton, looking to welcome an enthusiastic Science Teacher to their team from October 2025. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT ready for your first role, these schools offer a supportive, ambitious environment where your teaching can truly make an impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Teaching engaging and interactive Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with some opportunities for KS5)

  • Inspiring students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, depending on your subject strengths

  • Encouraging hands-on learning, independent thinking, and scientific curiosity

  • Planning lessons that support and challenge students of all abilities

  • Working with a collaborative team to shape a relevant and engaging curriculum

  • Contributing to wider school life, such as STEM clubs or enrichment projects

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS and a specialism in Science

  • Confident and engaging classroom practice with strong subject knowledge

  • A creative, reflective approach to teaching and learning

  • Strong behaviour management skills and a positive, student-focused mindset

  • A team player who's enthusiastic about continuous development

  • ECTs are encouraged to apply - full induction and mentoring will be provided
